11 Things to Do in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey After Completing The Game

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is a massive open-world RPG with three main story questlines that have different ending sequences. Completing the family, Cult of Kosmos, and Atlantis questlines takes long enough. However, there’s still lots more you can do in AC Odyssey even after you’ve fully completed the game. These are 11 things to do in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey after game completion.

Play Through the Game Again to See Different Endings

The Assassin’s Creed Odyssey family questline has alternative endings determined by your dialogue choices throughout the game. There are about nine different endings you can see for the family questline. These endings are primarily based on how many of the Eagle Bearer’s family survive. Even if you saw the happiest ending upon completion, play through the game again and make different dialogue choices to see one of the worst alternatives.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey also has a New Game+ mode that adds extra replay value to the game. Starting a new game in this mode enables you to replay it with your abilities, inventory, and gear levels carried over from your previous playthrough. Plus, you can select alternative enemy scaling options for additional challenges.

Become a Tier One Mercenary

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey includes a multitude of different mercenaries who hunt you down when there’s a bounty on your head. You’ve probably fought a few of them en route to completing AC Odyssey. So, why not continue working your way up the mercenary ladder to become a top-tier mercenary? You can have loads of combat fun killing some of the toughest NPCs across Ancient Greece post-completion.

Conquer Pephka Arena

Pephka Arena is a great place to have combat fun after completing Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Players who’ve completed the Cult of Kosmos questline will already be familiar with Pephka Arena because one of its fighters is a cultist. However, you haven’t truly conquered that arena until you’ve defeated all its level 50 opponents. To do that, you must complete the “Heroes of the Arena” quest first. Then, try defeating all the highest-level opponents in Pephka Arena to obtain legendary gear from them.

Go to Korfu

Korfu is a new location you can check out after you’ve completed AC Odyssey’s main story. It’s a free crossover DLC for the game with a separate Korfu minimap to explore. To go to Korfu, speak to the Cruise Barker who appears at the port of Sami in Kaphallonia. Then, you can start the “Great Escape” quest that takes the Eagle Bearer to Korfu for a vacation.

When you’ve entered Korfu, you can start the “Those Who Are Treasured” quests in the crossover DLS. This is an additional questline that expands upon the Isu story. You’ll see a fourth ending sequence for AC Odyssey, with rolling credits, by completing that questline in Korfu.

Explore Ancient Greece in the Discovery Tour

Discovery Tour is the educational mode in AC Odyssey that provides a fascinating insight into the world of Ancient Greece. If you haven’t checked this additional game mode out already, you should do so when you’ve finished the game’s main story questlines and seen most of the map. Discovery Tour is a mode that provides audio and visual narratives for the historical sights in the game. It enables you to freely explore the map without any enemies to discover the history of Ancient Greece.

Play the Fate of Atlantis DLC

Fate of Atlantis is the second DLC for AC Odyssey, retailing at about $24.99. When you’ve finished the base game’s main story quests, it’s well worth playing this DLC to expand the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey experience. The Fate of Atlantis gives you three new Atlantis, Underworld, and Elysium maps to explore. Plus, you can meet the Trident King on a DLC questline that wraps up the Isu Atlantis story in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

Reach the Maximum Level

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey has a maximum level cap of 99. Most players probably won’t be anywhere near that level after completing the main story questlines in AC Odyssey. True game completionists will aim to reach the max level 99. To do that, you’ll need to complete pretty much all the side quests and contracts you can, explore everywhere on the map, fight in conquest battles, and finish off location objectives.

Complete the Fate of Atlantis Prologue Side Quests

Completing the Fate of Atlantis prologue side quests is something you should do before purchasing the Atlantis DLC. You can play through those side quests after game completion by starting the “Heir of Memories” quest. To start that quest, speak with the Aletheia Isu character on Triton. Playing through those side quests leads you to unlock the Great Seal of Atlantis and reveals what happened to Phidias.

Defeat Arges and Steropes

Arges and Steropes are mythical monsters you can slay beyond the game’s main Atlantis questline. They are optional cyclop beasts you can find on Nisyros and Andros. Arges is the tougher of the two beasts to fight because of his fire attacks and the volcanic surroundings on Nisyros. You’ll receive the Hammer of Hephaistos and Steropes’s Bow for defeating those monsters.

Complete All Achievements

The base AC Odyssey game includes 93 combat, exploration, and quest-related achievements for players to complete. Genuine game completionists try to complete all achievements in Odyssey for a Gamerscore of 1,850. To view all the achievements to complete, press the Shift + F2 hotkey (or PC players) to access the Ubisoft overlay and click Achievements on the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey tab.

Play Community-Created Quests

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey also includes many player-created quests that are accessible from the outset with Story Creator Modesetting enabled. If you’ve not played any community quests before game completion, check them out now. You can access player-created story quests by selecting the Quests tab and See Stories. Then, go to the quest portal locations highlighted on the map to start them.

Alternatively, why not try making some quests to play in AC Odyssey? You can set up your own quests with the Story Creator Mode tool. To do so, log into Ubisoft on the Story Creator Mode site and select Create a new story.

The fun never truly stops in Assassin’s Creedy Odyssey when there’s so much you can do in that game after completing its main story questlines. AC Odyssey offers an estimated 150-200 hours of gameplay for 100 percent completion, with all its DLCs, side quests, and achievements thrown into the mix. So, there’s a great AC Odyssey post-game for players to discover after finishing its main story questlines.
