There’s still a few months to go before the highly-anticipated Diablo 4 officially releases on June 6th, 2023, but already fans of the series are gauging how much time it’ll take for the average player to fully level their class of choice to Level 100.
According to Associate Game Director Joseph Piepiora, reaching Level 100 in Diablo 4 will take over 150 hours for the average player. Level 100 in Diablo 4 will be the maximum level cap (whereas in Diablo 3 it was Level 60).
Past information relayed by the development team has revealed that playing the Diablo 4 main campaign will be the primary way to level up in the game and should take characters to approximately Level 50 for a standard campaign playthrough. Once players hit Level 50, they’ll be able to unlock the Paragon Board, which will allow for further leveling and investing in different stat categories and character abilities.
The main campaign won’t be the only to to reach Level 100 in Diablo 4 however; players will also be able to utilize multiplayer options like group dungeons, PVP matches and world events. Nightmare Dungeons and Whispers of the Forgotten Ones, which will feature powerful enemies and bosses and require strategic planning to complete, will also be available after Diablo 4 players have reached endgame.
Are you impressed with the time it will take the average player to reach Level 100 in Diablo 4? Are you looking forward to the game’s June 6th release? Let us know in the comments.
Ninja Gaiden was my rite of passage at an early age. After finally beating that game (and narrowly dodging carpal tunnel) I decided to write about my gaming exploits. These days I enjoy roguelikes and anything Pokemon but I'll always dust off Super Mario RPG, Donkey Kong Country and StarFox 64 from time to time to bask in their glory.
