Rumored ‘Fortnite’ and ‘Resident Evil’ collab to bring Leon and Claire skins to the item shop

Although we’re still waiting for some of the characters from our most wanted Fortnite collabs wishlist to make it into the game, recent information from Fortnite leakers Shiina and HYPEX indicates that two new gaming legends skins may soon be heading our way in Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 2: Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield from Resident Evil 2.

The rumored Fortnite and Resident Evil collab would see Leon and Claire join S.T.A.R.S. veterans Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine, fellow Resident Evil characters from the first installment in the survival horror series who were added to Fortnite as part of the Gaming Legends series back in Chapter 2, Season 8.

In the events of Resident Evil 2, Leon Kennedy is a rookie police officer whose first day on the job in Raccoon City sees him taking on the repercussions of a full-fledged T-Virus outbreak that ravages the city’s inhabitants. Claire Redfield, Chris Redfield’s sister, is a 19-year-old college student and motorcycle racing enthusiast who comes to Raccoon City in search of her missing brother and crosses paths with Leon as a result.

Of course, until official word on the rumored Fortnite and Resident Evil collab is given from either Epic or Capcom, you can take all of this information as hearsay. We’ll keep you updated when any of the rumored information becomes verified.

Are you looking forward to the rumored Fortnite and Resident Evil collab skins, Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield? Which collab skins would you like to see in Fortnite? Let us know in the comments.

These days I enjoy roguelikes and anything Pokemon but I'll always dust off Super Mario RPG, Donkey Kong Country and StarFox 64 from time to time to bask in their glory.
