Moon Knight Fortnite skin added to the item shop

While there certainly hasn’t been any shortage of collaborative Marvel skins in Fortnite as of late, it appears Dr. Strange and the Prowler won’t be the only Marvel Cinematic Universe skins added to the game in Chapter 3, Season 2, as a Moon Knight Fortnite skin was added to the item shop in surprise fashion on Wednesday night.

The Moon Knight Fortnite skin flexes the more mummified look of Khonshu’s chosen avatar from the currently airing Disney+ series. The character’s description reads, “Appointed as Khonshu’s fist and given the ability to enact justice for those traveling at night. Part of the Moon Knight set.” The costume, like the recently added Prowler one, comes with the option to leave Moon Knight’s cape on or off and costs 1500 V-Bucks.

The Moon Knight Fortnite skin also features the vigilante’s iconic Crescent Darts as his Harvesting Tool (for an additional 500 V-Bucks), with the description, “Primarily used for throwing but also helpful for close-quarter combat.”

Another added benefit of the Moon Knight Fortnite skin is that Epic has included the option to choose between the classic cowl-and-caped, mummified Moon Knight look as well as the white-suited alter-ego (or alternate personality, if you’ve been following the Disney+ series), Mr. Knight.

Now all we need is a Miles Morales Spider-Man suit and our Marvel Fortnite checklist will be pretty much filled out at this point.

What do you think of the Moon Knight Fortnite skin being added to the game in surprise fashion for Chapter 3, Season 2? Sound off in the comments.

Ninja Gaiden was my rite of passage at an early age. After finally beating that game (and narrowly dodging carpal tunnel) I decided to write about my gaming exploits. These days I enjoy roguelikes and anything Pokemon but I'll always dust off Super Mario RPG, Donkey Kong Country and StarFox 64 from time to time to bask in their glory.
