Ten days after CDPR released the Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.23 and not long after both its reinstatement to the PS Store and the reversion of its refund policy on Xbox, CDPR President and joint-CEO Adam Kicinski stated that he believes that Cyberpunk 2077 stability is now at a “satisfying level” regarding the game’s performance on base consoles.
“We have reached a satisfying level in this regard,” Kicinski said of the current Cyberpunk 2077‘s stability levels and overall game performance at the WSE Innovation Day conference.
“We have also been working on improving the overall quality, which we are also quite happy about. Of course, we also removed bugs and visual glitches and we will continue to do that,” he said. “Over time, we will also be introducing improvements to the general game systems that players have highlighted.”
Other interesting questions asked at WSE Innovation Day regarding Cyberpunk 2077‘s stability was whether or not the return to the PS Store had already affected Cyberpunk 2077‘s sales, answered by CDPR vice president Piotr Nielubowicz.
“We provide data when they reach milestones or accumulate to a specific amount,” Nielubowicz said. “Therefore, now we will not comment on these results after two days.”
Are you happy with Cyberpunk 2077‘s stability for the base consoles such as Playstation 4 and Xbox One? Are they finally at the level where players expected them to be at the game’s launch? Let us know in the comments.
Ninja Gaiden was my rite of passage at an early age. After finally beating that game (and narrowly dodging carpal tunnel) I decided to write about my gaming exploits. These days I enjoy roguelikes and anything Pokemon but I'll always dust off Super Mario RPG, Donkey Kong Country and StarFox 64 from time to time to bask in their glory.
