Insomniac recently changed their mind regarding allowing saved file transfers from the PS4 version of Marvel’s Spider-Man to Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered on the PS5 and Saturday’s Patch 1.19 update put both the saved transfer support into action as well as added three new Spider-suits to the game.
To transfer your saved files from the PS4 version of Spider-Man to Spider-Man Remastered, make sure that you’ve updated to Marvel’s Spider-Man Patch 1.19 and Spider-Man Remastered v1.001.000. The files were made available early Sunday morning, November 22nd with an estimated file size of around 1 GB. Once you’re on the save selection screen simply upload your saved files from the PS4 to the cloud, then start up Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered on the PS5 and download your progress from the save selection screen.

Ninja Gaiden was my rite of passage at an early age. After finally beating that game (and narrowly dodging carpal tunnel) I decided to write about my gaming exploits. These days I enjoy roguelikes and anything Pokemon but I'll always dust off Super Mario RPG, Donkey Kong Country and StarFox 64 from time to time to bask in their glory.
