Hearthstone: Scholomance Academy takes place before the mighty Kel’Thuzad shuffled off this mortal coil and was resurrected as the lich overseer of Naxxramas. Therefore it’s only fitting that Lilian Voss, who is also currently an undead character in World of Warcraft lore, is still in human form for the Scholomance Academy expansion.

Though Infilitrator Lilian seems a bit of an odd choice for a Legendary minion at first glance, I’ll never complain about getting more Scarlet Monastery-related cards, as it’ll remain one of my favorite instances in World of Warcraft until the end of time.
Notwithstanding, the card has decent stats for an aggro minion, a Deathrattle effect we haven’t seen in-game before and Stealth, which make it a deceptively strong card, especially for the 4-mana cost. It also guarantees 4 damage with the Deathrattle, even if your opponent is able to clear the initial Infiltrator Lilian card from the board.
